What does it mean to be a "Good Citizen?"

First Graders are learning about good citizens. This morning we took the time to build on what we know about being a good citizen. 

  • ·    It means to care for people. Zosia
  • ·    Someone that wants the world to be a better place. Natalia
  • ·    It means that you care for people. Katie
  • ·    It means when you help the world by giving people food. Ali
  • ·    You can share the food that you planted. Miles
  • ·    You can make food for old people or people that do not have food. Natalie
  • ·    You can help your environment and treat people nice whether they are rich or poor. Emily
  • ·    You can grow lots of apple trees or any kind of fruit trees to give people if they do not have       any healthy food. Sam
  • ·    You can recycle. Jay
  • ·    You can own a grocery story for people. Olivia 
  • ·    You do not litter and help keep your community clean. Harry
  • ·    You can help direct traffic. Charlie W.
  • ·    When people are hurt, help them up. Jake
  •       It means you do not say mean things to people. Student
  • ·    We can be nice to people. Alex
  • ·    We can respect everyone and everything. Dylan
  • ·    You can clean the school. Kevin
  • ·    Do not throw snow on windows or doors. Claire
  • ·    Whenever someone gets hurt, make sure they are okay. Olivia 
  • ·    You can respect old people. Reese
  • ·    You can treat other people how you want to be treated. Robbie
