Connecting Across the Country!

Our class is learning about another first grade class
in Pennsylvania!

The students in Mrs. Dunkerly's class
were interested in comparing the temperatures
 between our two locations.

We liked checking in to The Weather Channel to see who had the warmest temperature each day. We also compared the two temperatures to see how much warmer or colder.

Our class was very interested in the area around York Springs. We discovered that Gettysburg is a short distance away from the school. Another observation that caught our eye was the
wide-open space around the school. We also saw many
trees from one perspective.
This made us very curious about how our communities
are alike and different.

We were inspired to share what our community looks like with Mrs. Dunkerly's First Graders.

Each student in the class created his or her own PicCollage
with 3-5 pictures of important buildings around Deerfield. Each friend could determine what pictures to include in the PicCollage.
We are so excited to share our photos of Deerfield!

We love Deerfield!
