This Week (and last Friday) in Pictures...

In case you were not aware, I now have a Twitter account (@CacioppoCrew).

We used TeleStory to share our learning in 1st Grade.

We visited with Mrs. Ready's Mother who is 100 years old!

We saw a picture from a newspaper of Mrs. Ready when 

she was a kid!

We used "Padlet" to pin our thoughts on how we are good citizens.

I am a good citizen because...

This gives us a chance to see other classmates' thoughts on the same topic!

This week, we played one of our favorite games... HEADACHE!

If the total is 22, one student sees the other student's number and has to 

figure out what number is one his head. We have to determine the missing

number in a number sentence.

15 + ___ = 22

We used cards to practice adding three numbers together. 

Aces are worth 50

Kings are worth 40.

Queens are worth 30.

Jacks are worth 20.

Who has the greater sum?

We read Miss Nelson is Missing!

Today, we compared and contrasted Miss Nelson to Miss Viola Swamp.

Our class ROCKED this activity!

We put our ideas together on the flipchart.

We found evidence for each answer in the text! 

We were circling and underlining evidence. 

At lunch today, we had the opportunity to sit with different friends. 

Our class loved it! We used this opportunity to write about our experience.

It is only Tuesday! We have been busy this week. :)
